Good afternoon, we’re just back from our Weekend Away – a truly great weekend of fun, fellowship, laughter, great teaching and learning. Time away with each other and with God. Thank you to both Paul and Phil for coming and sharing with us on our theme verse – learning what it means to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly. This week the Overs are meeting on Tuesday morning for tea and coffee and a continued discussion through the Our Father. Peter and Carissa start Encounter today so please pray for them as they learn more about God and his heart for them and the world through this experience. Please pray for them also as they help 11 Americans acclimatise to Ireland! There is an open BBQ on Saturday in Coolnagreina at 5pm for those who want to visit them.
Thank you to everyone who shared in the Ignite Weekend Away – I was again amazed at what God is doing in and through each one of us and as a community. It is a privilege to be part of such a vibrant, funny and loving group of people. From prayer workshops, to the BBQ, to chats, to talks, to games – God is at work. I’m excited as we move forward together learning more what it means for us to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly in the light of the cross.
