Each Monday there will be a post here highlighting some up and coming events for the week. This week ‘The Overs’ group will be meeting for coffee in the morning in Urban Junction at 11.30am with Food for thought after – at the moment they are going through the Our Father. Various bible studies take place for different ages – please contact the office for more information on those. In June Carissa and Peter are joining the Encounter team. This is a group of student age people from Ireland and the US who get together in Greystones for training and are then sent to different parts of Ireland to serve different ministries. They are running a fundraiser in Urban Junction on Saturday night – they’d love your support. If you can’t make it, please support them in any way you can. We pray that it will be a transformational time in their lives – Encounter not just the fundraiser.
On Monday 1st June a group of people will be taking part in the Dublin Bay Walk and Cycle to raise money for Urban Junction. It’s open to all so please considering taking part or sponsoring someone who is. Contact Belinda for more info. There will be a BBQ after.
Michael will be sharing with us the penultimate talk from the book of Acts on Sunday. We will finish up our series on Acts at the Ignite Weekend Away.
Praying that you have a fruitful and God filled week. I’ll leave you with a verse that we ended with yesterday. Paul knows Jesus and knows he has a message to proclaim.
“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”
