A Sigh of Relief

Testify to Love by Avalon – This song came up and I thought’ “nature doesn’t have to do anything unnatural to show us that there is goodness and glory in this world. It’s here as it is; in its own pure form and when we pay attention to it, it inspires us.”

God exists in this world in a very pure and true form, filling the world with His Glory and Love.

Through pain and suffering a Light of hope and strength keeps shining and to those who look for Him, He shows Himself.

Being part of this testimony to who God is, is also meant to be something that flows through us, like a channel that opens for water to come through.

We decide to seek God, we find Him, He touches our hearts and shines light on us and through us, that makes Him visible to the world around us. And a hungry world drinks in a wholesome trickle of God’s Lifegiving water with a big sigh of relief when they find the Source and Author how never stops giving and forever satisfies.

Our tanks can fill when we seek the Giver of Life, Our lives can overflow only when we fill up with Him – like a phone plugging in to charge.

Every thanksgiving to Him, every Word of glory to Him, every honest open heart surrendering and talking with Him, every thought spent eager to see Him show Himself, every brave move to sing or show love brings more meaning into our hearts and shows the world an honest experience of Jesus.

Eyes on Him, eyes on Him, the One who deserves all the glory and praise, surrendering our need to bring to the table and enjoying the feast He’s set before us – and by enjoying His everything, we find ourselves inviting others to join it and starting to share the purity He shines into our hearts.

Oh taste and see that the Lord is good.

I’ve enclosed the link to the song “Testify to Love” below:

Psalm 34:8 (ESV) Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

Mat 11:28-30 (NIV) Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

John 7:37-38 (NIV) On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”

Isaiah 55:1 (NIV) Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy?

Psalm 34:5 (ESV) Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.

Psalm 4:6-7 (NIV) Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 6:3 (NIV) They were saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord who rules over all. The whole earth is full of his glory.”

Rom 8:22-24 (NIV) We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved.
